Well, our adventure started in 2002. It was a nice day and we decided to start a band. At first, the concept was a traditional punk rock band – no ska involved like yet. But as time went by we started to mix punk and ska – the outcome is the sound that you know as THE ECCOS – pure ska punk at it’s best.

New friends joined and some of them left the band but the concept was always the same. Despite all the line up changes, we tried to play as many shows as possible in clubs around our hometown and abroad, (birthday) parties, festivals and a lot more. The goal was to play - it didn’t matter where or when. We were young kids with an overdose of energy and a great desire to give it all at every show. We always try to connect fun on stage with leaving a message to the lads. There was a point, after that project was no longer just making music, more to the truth it became a way of life for us all.

We loved the fact that we started to be more than just a band. Nowadays, the band - "The Eccos" - is our way to lead our energies – bad or good ones – to fulfil and identify ourselves with it. It became our way of escaping from reality, where we work in jobs we don’t like for money we don’t need! We’re talking, singing, writing and thinking about revolutionary and humanitarian topics like sexism, fascism, racism, slavery as well as animal liberation and environment pollutions and many more problems, that we think the world should face.

After more than more than 150 shows in AT, GER, HU, CZ, SK and SL we shared the stage with bands like Panteon Rococo (MEX), The Locos (ex Ska-P ESP), Rantanplan (GER), Karamelo Santo (ARG), Argies (ARG), Streetlight Manifesto (ex Catch22 USA), The Toy Dolls (UK), Emil Bulls (GER), The Peepshows (SWE), Stroh (ESP), Kafkas (GER), Planet Smashers (CAN) and many many more...

So... Now, every time you join an Eccos show you do not just support a band! No, you’re supporting a scene, a cause, a different lifestyle which we call unity, a unity to make the world a happier and safer place.

	ALEX He was playing Guitar from the beginning in the year 2002 til the end of 2004. Now he is sharing his leisure time with the local punk band Stay Due Beauty ! Go and check this band out! Alex, we're looking forward to share the stage with you and your band again some day. See Ya!!!
	MAX He played Trumpet from 2003 til the Planet Smashers Show in April 2006! Thank you for the uncountable and unforgetable moments we had with you! We wish you all the best "Dr. Maxwell" ;)
	STEF He was the singer of the band from the beginning of 2004 til middle of 2006. Especially I (Martin) had a unforgetable time with you. Thank you so much for everything you did for the band. We hope you're doin' fine...
	MOPS He was playing Guitar in the year 2005. Now he started a new project called Reduce Speed Now. Check out the webpage! You know we had some very hard moments but anyway - We've learned a lot from each other and it was a briliant year with you on the stage! We wish you all the best for your project!
	FLO He helped us with playin' Guitar between April and October 2006. Now he concentrates on his band And I Bleed. Flo, thanks for everything and good luck for you and your band!!!
	KATHI She was playing bass-guitar since the first concert in November 2002 till middle of September 2007 with The Eccos. Kathi we thank you for all the great time we had with you. We had uncountable rockin shows together. We will always keep you in our minds...
	GUSTL He was one of the guys, who jammed with us from the first practice on. So, he has also been a very important and funny part of the Eccos! BIG THANK YOU, dude - It will be impossible for us to forget you! See you!
