Die Suche nach den Ostereiern
oder: „On the road with The Eccos"

What a better way to introduce our new CD in the way we did it! We started on Friday 12th in shelter with Six Tin Jonesy!! What can I say about the concert? The place was packed with friends, old faces, new faces who were dancing from the very beginning to the last note we played, simply awesome!!

Saturday 13th was our holy Saturday! We kicked, scored and danced the night away. We were part of a very original festival called kick n gig and it consisted in a football tournament between the 6 bands! Ladies & gentlemen - we were the ones who raised the trophy, we didn’t loose any game so we were headliners in a cold September night, but that wasn’t an impediment to keep the party warm the whole night.
I would like to send greetings to all the band members who were fouling me the whole fucking tournament!! But it was a cool. ;D

And last but not least Hollabrunn! We did it again!! What a good show!! 350 persons or more congregated in the almighty Slaughterhouse It was really a delight to play for you again, we are totally thankful that you were dancing, moshing, stage diving, screaming, singing our songs and the way u were with us the whole time...
MUCHAS GRACIAS GENTE, DE PUTA MADRE!!

Hello people how r we doing today? We are very good just coming back from an extraordinary concert last saturday night with a really cool line up. We played with bands like D.A.V.E., GPF and the GOGETS what a great combination to make a full energy show.

We arrived in Waidhofen at 19:00 and the GPF were already there, so as usual we start with the "beer-rounds" and like headliners we played at almost 00:00 the show was really cool. The people were dancing and singing from the first song to the last one, it was really cool after the show we went to a local bar and thats all i can remember.

We would like to thank all the organizers who were so nice to us the whole time. GRACIAS!!! Our next show is in oberwart with RX BANDITS(U.S.and A.) Facing new york(U.S. and A.) and No Head On My Shoulders(AT). I hope to see you there. bye, bye.

Hola como estamos? Well so we are back from germany after 2 amazing concerts that we played there. After a drunken saturday we left on sunday to our destiny Munich to play with our very good friends THE ARGIES straight from argentina and one of the nicest guys I ever met in europe despite they are from my continent, so we arrived to cafe marat around 7p.m. we had a cool meal totally vegan, after a soccer match session we hit the stage.

I have to say that we played awesome we were all really motivated, people danced and sang with us, then the argies came with their combat punk rock and i sang with them one of my favorite songs NICARAGUA SANDINISTA from KORTATU how amazing it was. later on we drove to our friends house in munich, sara, tina and mio. and we got really drunk again and there we were laughing so much with the argies the whole night after a non stop joking night We slept and the argies left munich on monday. The whole monday we stayed in munich so the day was only shopping, sightseeing, getting drunk etc..

Sooooo the adventure continues now in augsburg. 50 minutes away from munich, we played in an amaaaaazing location i think it was one of the coolest venues we
ever played, the bar was gorgeous, the stage pretty wide and comfortable, nothing to complain about but... kids i thought this was the last day of my life after being creating a new song with martin, i sat down and in a second i almost fainted, my whole body was shaking, i couldnt walk or even speak, i felt a bit better after eating my bananas, then in the soundcheck i almost fell down dead, i really was worried about me but after a lot of coffee and red bulls i survived a concert where in the venue were almost 300 persons non stop party with music from desmond dekker, jimmy cliff till rise against, ska-p etc.. we played very good i wasnt at my 100% sorry augsburg, but our hotel room was 1 minute and a half from the location so the party lasted till 6 in the morning. but i slept early.thx so much guys and i hope to see you in our next concerts.
salud y anarkia.

Miguel "survivor" guinness.

P.S. Thx to every single person who helped us and support us in germany and to the ones who take care of me and that were hearing my laaaasssst woooooorrrrds in my slow agony hahaha.

: : : Pic Of The Day : : :

2007-05-05 Innsbruck @ PMK

Innsbruck is sooo far away from Vienna but who cares we made it to play there after 6 hours in the eccobus, we arrived at 6 oclock at the P.M.K. and we were ready to play this “smash the fucking G-8 party”. This show was very good. We met some people from our shows in the czech republic. They came to see us play there, what a cool surprise!! Then I met some friends in Innsbruck and before the show we went to an irish pub to drink the best drink in the world that obviously is a GUINNESS, Innsbruck is a really nice city, small but lovely, then the show started and goooooooooooooosh!!! The place was crowded people didn’t stop dancing again, the Eccos in action and loud in P.M.K. We played our whole set, every single song we have - we played it there. A storm hit innsbruck and it was lovely cause I love rain! It’s so romantic <3, The after party was totally crazy and with a lot of alcohol ? as usual. On Sunday we woke up a bit late but after a long ride again we arrived at our houses safetly. Gracias por su atencion.

2007-05-03 Vienna @ Arena w/ Panteon Rococo

Que pedo cabrones?? hablan español?? that was the phrase which i started our concert in arena wien last thursday 3th, I have to say that this was an amazing concert there were sooooo many people it was amazing, when i first came to vienna 3 years ago i promised myself and i set it as a challenge for me to play in the big hall in arena and i cant believe that i made it. Well leaving behind my personal thoughts we arrive to arena around 5 P.M. Panteon Rococo was already there and i met them a few years ago so we were all talking and having fun with my co-nationals. It was so amazing seeing so many latinamerican people at the show mexican flags everywhere people dancing, screaming it was a lovely show, we played a new song and some changes in some old songs people really liked our show and later came Rococo with his sweet latinamerican ska that latinoamericans and europeans couldnt stop dancing, then Panteon invited me to sing a song with them to finish this concert. We showed our brand new merch we have 2 new lovely tshirts for girls and boys. I will like to thank Ricardo(thx for the help to have this gigs), Miguel(thx for the food and the booze. www.jalisco.at), David, Omar, Tony and all the people in general who were at the show. Germany my second time there!! my first time was during the world cup i liked it and this time wasnt the exception despite that most of the band members had a terrible hangover from the day before including our good friends mogli (our tour manager hehe) and niki (the gogets) it was kind of a long trip and boring but we had fun in the eccomobil i was hearing my most favorite bands in my i-pod Division minuscula (u must hear it!!), Finde, Valentin elizalde, the beatles, the locos and johnny cash well we arrived to Munich around 6 and the place was a kind of jugend zentrum and our backstage room was a discoteque so it was big, comfortable and sexy haha, we were the first band in this gig was a quiet show but not boring dont confuse the meaning of it. After us a local band played and then the gogets! Both made a good show and after the show guess what?? what do u imagine?? yeah u r right RIOT AND MADNESS in the after party show. It was a strange party – a few minutes away from the club - everyone were dressed up so elegant i think it was kind of this prom parties but well the beers were for free we were dancing, getting crazy and naked till 5 in the morning. next day go back to Vienna and to prepare us for our next 2 shows in Czech republic the next weekend, so stay tuned!! eat nutrititive food, buy skenema tshirts, dont believe in god and say fuck Bush each time u have the chance. Muchas gracias.

The Locos & The Eccos = The Leccos Show

Hello people is being a long time since the last time i dedicated my writting to you and im happy to do it again. Well i was in Mexico for 1 month, when i came back we played a few shows but the lack of time and excess of occupations havent give me some freetime to write but well heeeeeere we go....!!!

Since i joined The Eccos a few months ago I´ve been so happy to do what i really like to do, being on stage, know people and we had lovely concerts in Austria and other countries but kids!! i have to tell that this was the best concert I ever played and the reason is because this is my favorite band since 1 year ago, i met Pipi some months ago and i made an interview for radio orange when they played in picture on festival (bildein) and i said to him kidding well next time we meet is gonna be on stage and we all laughed but that came truth and here we are we played a SOLD OUT concert with them!!

We arrived around 16:00 we were talking with the guys of the locos and all of them remembered me and we were preparing everything sound, merchstand, etc... Then the locos made the sound check they played prepotencia mundial and la ultima valla, then it was our turn and we played september, wool and sometimes friendship is called war for sound check so was all good. Around 8:30 we were supposed to play and there we were the all re-newed eccos on stage sounding harder and faster than ever, inspired by this magnific band. we play our typical set with a new intro and the pogo started since the first song and stopped till the last note we played, LOOOOOOVELY!! Later that same night the locos on stage preparing us for one of the best shows that a ska band can offer. After the concert we talked with a lot of people and i was surprised cause there were a lot of latinamerican brothers and sisters and a lot of austrians who spoke spanish with me and it was a great fun. The after show party was at chelsea were all the people went who were at the Leccos-Show. It was concert that is gonna be hardly forgotten for us and much of the audience, thx a loooooooot for dancing with us. Muchas gracias jovenes y señoritas!!

2006-11-25 Provokant Wertvoll Tour 2006

St. Pölten @ Warehouse 24/Nov/06

Hey amigos como estan?? Well I’m recovering for the madness of this 2 shows, but everything is good and finally my head feels normal again ;)
Ok sooo the show in St. Pölten was quite nice - lovely location and 3 great bands playing with us Red Llights Flash, Rentokill and Back to Avenue. Awesome!!!
We had so much fun in the backstageroom - Gustl and I were singing beatles songs drinking and dancing,… Nice memories and about the show, it was really cool, but a bit quiet. But the few persons who danced did it pretty good we really enjoy to play for u guys in St. Pölten. We are really looking forward to see you again.

Hollabrunn @ Schlachthof 25/Nov/06

Hollabruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunn!! Gosh that wasn’t a concert!! I m sure - really sure, that was a PARTY and i mean it!! I´ve been in this old slaughterhouse before in 2 concerts but never when we played and i hope this wasnt the last time. The place was packed and the atmosphere was the right one for a provokant & wertvoll concert.

One paragraph of our song's called 'september' - It describes perfectly what people did at the show: "This is our holy saturday we drink, smoke dance the night away.... It's a special day" The whole band really thank u sooo much for dancing, singing, drinking and having fun with us! And about what the band concerns please if u saw any of us and remember what we were doing please send us an email and tell us what we did, because no one of the band can remember anything - haha ... unbelievable! So your feedback would be really appreciated ;)
THE ECCOS really thank a lot the organizers for let us be part of the Provokant & Wertvoll Tour and for the food, fun and booze. THANK YOU.

"Muchas gracias por todo amigos"

Korneuburg 2006-09-14

Hey amazing people who were at our concert!! ...and the persons who weren´t there: u missed one our best concerts in Austria!! ;) Well I really enjoyed this show we played with kimera, fate, hindoslem and other bands that i dont remember the name (sorry)

That night we showed for our very first time our brand new banner THE ECCOS -Bullets of liberation are the lies of our generation- The phrase is an extract from our new song called "not just white kids". We had a photo session as well, some promo shots for our cd, websites, magazines, softporns etc... the show was sooooo good!!!

I hear very often that shows in Austria are so boring and bla, bla, bla... well i have to say that those persons are FUCKING WRONG The mosh pit started from our first to the last song, there was crowd surfing, stage diving and they scare me to dead as well when a kid carried me on his shoulders. I was afraid of my ugly face to get it uglier. some friends from vienna were at the show, from hollabrunn, stock-city as well... Thanks a lot kids. U ROCKED!! i mean it.

I met a special person that night after the show as well i hope u can read this. :)
Ok ladies, ok boys our next 2 shows are in Vienna and i want to see all of u there!!
04.11. @ movimento and 07.11 @ arena w/THE ARGIES from argentina. --> One of the best punk rock bands in latinamerica, i hear them since 5 years. They simply rock!!

Czech Republic 2006-09-23

Hello People! Hello Lovers and Haters. This is our journey we made to CZ. In one word: It was amazing! I think since I joined the band this was one of the best shows!! More than 300 persons attented the show and approximately 150 of them were dancing from the first song we played till the last. It was sooooo amazing to play for all these people there. As we arrived there the band was kinda scared and for me it was even worse because Kubin - the organizer - told us: "Guys maybe today is gonna be a hard audience, the stadium is a few blocks away and there is a football match going on. So after it a lot of skinheads (every kind of skinheads from ois to nazis) will show up, but i already called the police to guard the place!" CAN U IMAGINE?!?!

Even harder for me that im not so white to their eyes, damn!! But well, we stayed in our bus having 2 or 3 beers, like always. I was hearing the beatles and the locos before our show. In between we saw a big crowd of police-men - dressed up like darth vader beating up some skinheads! Unbelievable... 3 bands played before us - At about midnight it was our turn and it was a pretty neat show i was throwing buttons and stickers into the crowd! Kathi, Paty, Andi, Philipp and Martin did a great job on stage and the people liked it! The best was when i started to play the american anthem with a whistle and all the people were so angered and fueled.

: : : Pic Of The Day : : :

The mosh pit was unbelievable. When we closed the show Martin said our last song is gonna be in spanish! It was just a big ladies scream in the hall. Soo funny!! Thank You a lot! ;) We finished and 2 bands played after us. We stayed there till 4 in the morning having drinks talking with the very nice people there and with some really druuuunk people, but it was all good.... YEAH
ADIOS.

Amstetten 2006-09-16

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen! This is the mexican writing our adventures for u again. Well first of all I just wanna say that i feel deeply bad for our trumpet player Andy! The day before the show he decided to get incredibly drunk and the morning after he was ....mmmmmhhhh - well u can imagine how the worst hangover ever feels like ;) But well, as a good ska-punker he raised from the ground of his bottle and played a sweet show.

: : : Pic Of The Day : : :

Now about the whole band they were ok - except me - i traveled more than 1000 km to play this gig. I was exhausted and with a broken rib as well. We arrived to JUZ Atoll at about 19:00 i think, it was a really neat and clean place the stage was very fine and my god: the spaghetti they gave us were AWESOME! There was a very nice skatepark as well, i swear: i will get back there just to skate those perfect handrails and curbs. So, the people started to gather at about 20:00! I met some guys and girls who were really cool to talk with. Then the first band played: Skalzone!! They played 3 of my favorite tunes ever "Sell out", "Take on me" (Reel Big Fish) and "All Outa Angst" (NOFX). They played a pretty cool set and well we were the headliners this time! We played a new song for the very first time ever!! People danced, fell down, sang and they went nuts! That's what we like when we play: To interact with people is such a very cool feeling - I hope all our shows will be like this :)
Organizers: Thx a lot for inviting us, the way u treated us and for the endless drinks and food. CHEERS!!!!

Heidenspass Festival 2006-08-04

Well in one word this festival was awesome!! I got to stockerau at 14:00 it was kinda hard for me to wake up the night before i was totally drunk with 2 guys named Alex. One plays in Endiryah the other plays in 3 feet smaller, i was there as well with these good lad called Marek (bar room heroes) and many other persons. Well we arrived to heidenspass at 16:00 in the eccomobil, the weather was bad raining and cold, damn!! next time i should remember that there is something called jackets!!

Well in the backstage i found Alex from Endiryah with the same hangover as i had and i met the guys from endiriyah and ramazuri, all of them really nice people since my german is not perfect i appreciate when people are still friendly with me and correct my mistakes, but some of these guys were able to remember 3 or 4 words in spanish and those 4 words were the words i heard the whole night :D. Later on Endiryah and Ramazuri performed very good shows we were next and i smelled good vibes.

I was a bit nervous at the beggining cause of the change of leadsingers and being the new one sometimes is not as easy as it looks, but people liked our performance they danced, i dedicated slange (our first day of tomorrow) to a kid asking for this song in the crowd. It was a really nice concert full of energy and is always nice being in touch with people who go to the concerts i swear the whole band enjoyed so much this festival, unfortunatelly kathy and gustl had to leave earlier cause of work reasons but martin, paty, philipp, philipp´s girlfriend and myself had so much fun.

We enjoyed the rest of the performances as well i was impressed to hear ska in russian. It's quite cool.
Thx to all the heidenspass crew everything was excellent and i want to thank specially to all those guys who danced, sang, and talked with us. THX A LOT.

Palaverama Festival - 2006-08-05

After beeing completely wasted I slept in a waterbed. I swear today was one of those days that i didnt want to wake up, well Paty and I slept in Martin´s house. As we were the first band in palaverama we needed to be there as soon as possible so we woke up at 10:00 (my god) we picked up the rest of the band and we drove to Gmünd. It was an eternity for me to get there i was soooo sick from the night before

So we got to Gmünd the weather was worst than the day before, the stage was veeeery cool, the sound was flawless, so we were the first band i really liked the way we played here even that there werent so many people. But all of them danced and had fun and thats the most important thing when u go to a concert, so we played almost the same set than the day before and after the show we just spent the day in the backstage, some with hangover, others sleepy, but despite rain and awful weather people enjoyed the festival I met some really nice persons at this festival. Sorry if i wasnt friendly as usual this time but i was really sick, im honestly sorry, u know i love you ;D
Thx palaverama crew everything was perfect.!!

Miguel Guinness.

Punk rock life, is it worth it??

Well is a question that i made myself 1000 times and is kinda confusing, there are so any kind of "punk" people nowadays. For example when i go to a concert i see all this young kids and girls who claim themselves as the biggest punkrockers ever and that they are so
anarchists and open minded cause of the way they are "dressed" but they never ever think what a real "punk rocker is" (maybe i dont know it either) but all these kids with hundreds of patches on their clothes, studed jackets and belts, mohawks in a big gamma of colours and all the accesories needed to be punkrockers, they are nothing but part of other fashion, i´ve seen the same kids drinking coca-cola, eating in the mc donalds, etc...

once i have an argument with a guy telling me that im a victim of the system cause i pay my ticket for the transportation service, then i thought well maybe in a way he is right but what if i dont pay the ticket??

what if all the people stop doing that?? where our public transportation service will go?? people scream out loud that they are anarchists and what they do?? puke on the street, get amazingly drunk, destroy public property that later the government will repair with the use of the taxes we pay, is that the anarchy u want?? anarchy is one of the most oganized social systems could ever exist, but we will never be able to survive it and u know why?? because of our selfdestructive nature will ruin it all, so next time u say that u r an anarchist please study what are u trying to express and we´ll be all happy.
